Hiya All..!!!

Long time no see! I am currently organizing my files for my portfolio which is due next week 5/23!
As always procrastination is not really a good thing for me, putting off my projects till the last min.
but, sometimes I do better under stress..sometimes not but just depending on the situation. I hope
my portfolio will be strong enough to make it into the 2nd year of art school.. here its not like other
schools. once you get in you are in, but in this art school you have to make an exam for each new year
of school and a new portfolio (and dish out allot of cash!). The 2nd semester was very uneventful for me'
to say the least. I was not in a hot spot for creative energy...somehow it just slipped away from me or
hiding under the bed. but anyway, thankfully I did produce lots of nice art works during the winter break
which I am aloud to add to my portfolio..even though I am concentrating on ceramic arts, I can add other
things I made during the year outside of classes too! yay!

so wish me luck to get me through into the
next year!!!
Summer break is pretty much around the corner now, I had lots of plans and places I wanted to go and
things to do. But now I had a part time job and now its gone! for a American living abroad is very difficult
especially getting the language and finding some work to make a little cash on the side! luckily I am grateful
that my boyfriend takes care of the major financial things ..(apartment, car and food) ..and he has a pretty
stable and well paying job! But, still in the beginning of the year he paid for lots of things to get our new
apartment into shape such as buying new furniture and a new couch for the place.. we got tons of paint
for the walls that we repainted and that cost a fortune in the end..! but, now we are very happy with our
place...its still a work in progress but its coming along nice! The living room and kitchen is beach themed since I am from
Florida and wanted to incorporate a 50's rockabilly/vintage/sea-side theme. The bed room is country chic/spiritual/
filled with lots of random nick knacks I have collected over the years of my life..and my work room is almost playful
fairy room filled with child-like hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow..I keep this room light and airy compared
to the other rooms so my imagination and inner child are free to explore the possibilities of the inner soul.
I am looking forward to visiting my family again in the States, hopefully I find another way to make some
money on the side or sell some art of mine. hopefully If I can find a buyer! Life of an artist is difficult but
in the end very rewarding. I might start doing metal smiting again too! look out for new works on my page!
..peace out and namaste XOXOXO
